Representation of foreign companies according to the Italian WEEE-legislation (Decreto legislativo 25 luglio 2005, n. 151, proprio rappresentante in Italia)
WEEE compliance is obligatory also for companies without a local subsidiary in Italy. Companies manage this best by appointing a legal representative according to the Italian WEEE legislation (D. LGS. 25 luglio 2005, n. 151). Locally, this legal representative is the addressee for the national authorities and clearing house, and responsible for all formal obligations within the registration for WEEE. The legal representative handles among others payments of the regular fees and all formal obligations.
