WEEE, Batteries and Packaging
Take-back and recycling of used electrical and electronic equipment, old batteries and packaging waste is regulated in the European Union by different EU directives. The obligations for companies are based on the corresponding national legislations. This means a variety of different and complex requirements because the implementation of the EU Directives for WEEE, Batteries and Packaging is by far not identical in all 27 EU member states, but varies from country to country.
