Copyright fees differ in European countries



 

In the place of the holders of copyrights of protected works, almost all countries of the world impose copyright fees for IT products and storage media allowing uncontrolled storage and distribution of those works.

 

Differences in copyright fees 

In every single European country, the rules are different. Different amounts are demanded for the various devices, product categories and storage media. Moreover, in accordance with the technological development, new products are steadily declared eligible for levies. Manufacturers and dealers have to pay the copyright fees.
