K&L has been in the market for 13 years. The company has started its activities in 1996 as a communications agency under the name of Krug und Petersen GmbH. With the company’s expansion into the lobbying and compliance business as of 2003, Krug und Petersen developed into a transformation which was completed in 2008 with the split into two independent companies. Besides communications, K&L performs a series of compliance tasks, in close cooperation with the other organizations of the company group, K&L Italia S.r.l. in Milan and 1WEEE Services GmbH in Boeblingen.

Chairman of the Board, lawyer and former senior legal secretary, belonged to the federal state administration of Baden-Wuerttemberg as a civil servant for eleven years, with positions in the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of State, before subsequently working for HP in Germany and Brussels for fifteen years, inter alia, as director for finances and administration and as Government Affairs Director Europe.

Journalist and communication consultant, worked in the communications management of HP in Germany and the European corporate headquarters in Geneva for twelve years. In 1996, together with Dr. Jens Petersen, he founded the communications agency Krug und Petersen Agentur für Kommunikation GmbH, and developed the company into the leading PR agency in Baden-Wuerttemberg.
